On behalf of Saudi King Fahd bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Makkah region Prince Abdulmajeed bin Abdulaziz washed the Holy Kaabah in Mecca Monday.
Prince Abdulmajeed was received by General President of the affairs of Al-Haram Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque Sheikh Salih bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Husain and a number of officials, the SPA news agency reported.
Minister of Hajj Iyad bin Ameen Madani and a number of officials, members of the accredited Arab and Muslim diplomatic corps and a group of citizens took part in the function. (Albawaba.com)
