Mcafee inc. highlights importance of it security to businesses in Oman
McAfee seminar in Oman raises awareness amongst enterprise businesses of the latest threats and developments in security solutions that will help protect their most valuable assets
McAfee Inc., the leading dedicated security technology company, recently hosted a customer focused seminar in the Sultanate of Oman which discussed the latest security trends in-depth through a number of presentations and interactive discussions. The McAfee security seminar was attended by around 100 of the top IT executives and decision makers from various Omani enterprise businesses, Government bodies and Telco organisations.
McAfee experts gave attendees advice and a thorough insight into the latest security threats, developments in IT security solutions and the impact of new compliance rules and regulations on business operations in the local market.
“The event in Oman was greatly welcomed by the attendees, and there was an excellent turnout from a wide cross-section of the enterprise business community and government sector,” said Emile Abou Saleh, Territory Manager, McAfee Middle East. “We addressed the growing diversity and sophistication of threats and security risks affecting organizations today both locally and world-wide. Data Loss and implications on business continuity were one of the key topics discussed at length.”
