MBRPLD`s Young Leaders Program study tour delegates attend intellectual dialogue with elite French leaders

 

Dinner-meeting at Chateau de Bourron major highlight of the French leg of MBRPLD's 'Dubai Opening' cross-country education visits

 

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Program for Leadership Development (MBRPLD), an innovative leadership program aimed at developing national leaders who are willing and able to promote the sustainable development of the UAE, has announced that participants of its Young Leaders Program recently attended an intellectual dialogue with elite French leaders during a dinner-meeting held in Fontainebleau, France. The event was among the major highlights of the French leg of MBRPLD's "Dubai Opening" educational visits.

 

The high-level discussions delved on a wide range of topics including a detailed outlook on Dubai Blue Ocean, meaning of regional interests and advantages of Dubai's geographic location, the key elements for the success of Dubai in the future, who are the real competitors of Dubai, the competitiveness of Dubai, comparative assessment of Dubai against other global cities, types of capital and the importance of knowledge capital, and defining the priorities of the opportunities and challenges in Dubai.

 

"The high-quality exchange of ideas was amazing and really left a huge impact on the delegates. Among those that generated strong interest were discussions on the world's viewpoint of Dubai and on the basics of the theory of competitive strategies and doctrines of intellectual and how they fit within Dubai's framework," said Adel Al Shared, MBRPLD Director and Executive Council Director of National's Development.

 

"It was indeed a rare opportunity for the delegates to rub elbows with the French elite and be part of a no-holds-barred discussion of some of the most pressing issues facing first-class cities around the world. The insights and advice they have collected from this experience will surely go a long way in their future roles as leaders of Dubai and the UAE," concluded Al Shared.
