Leading regional online recruitment firm Mawaride.com signed an agreement with Institute for International Research (IIR) in a strategic alliance that sees to develop the human resource (HR) industry in the Middle East.

With Mawaride’s recruitment expertise and IIR’s experience as the world’s largest human capital company the collaboration is expected to raise the level of HR practice to world-class standards.

“Beyond oil and gas reserves, human capital has been the biggest catalyst for growth in the region. Where expatriate labour provided the initial stimulus, we are now keen to address the development of human capital to ensure the region’s sustainable progress for years to come. This is where we hope to make a significant impact,” said Ms. Celeste Arndt, Corporate Relations Manager, Mawaride.com. “We’re delighted to be working with IIR and hope to complement their core competencies with our strength as an online recruitment company to boost HR practice in the region.”

For IIR Middle East, the alliance signals its commitment to the uplifting of the HR industry in the region as key driver of organisational development. IIR has long history of pioneering and impeccable HR practice in 116 operating units all over the world. They have become the largest human capital company in the world. With this agreement, IIR share their expertise, and at the same time hope to learn some more about the intricacies of the region’s HR industry, because as society and economies change, so do people and organisational dynamics.

Under the partnership, Mawaride.com will become IIR’s exclusive online recruitment partner; conversely, IIR will be Mawaride’s official training and conference partner.

“It’s a symbiotic relationship that augurs well for the industry. We will collaborate on region-specific and training modules, as well as conferences to raise the bar higher for human resource management in this part of the world,” ended Ms. Arndt.
