The Mauritanian government has permitted six new political parties to legally operate in the country, reported the official SPA news agency.
A statement issued by the ministry of interior stated the names of the new political parties which include the Liberal Democratic party, Third Generation party, Labor Party and others.
The interior ministry's announcement came on the eve of the forthcoming general election due to take place next October in Mauritania, said SPA – Albawaba.com
