mastercard worldwide confirms key sponsorship and official payment card role of dubai summer surprises 2007
MasterCard offers exciting experiences and benefits to cardholders throughout the DSS
MasterCard Worldwide has confirmed its role as the key sponsor and official payment card for the eighth year running of the Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2007.
As the official payment card, MasterCard is demonstrating its commitment to the DSS and the region by cooperating with other DSS sponsors to offer consumers benefits and exciting experiences that are meaningful to them. Through these benefits and experiences, consumers will increase their enjoyment of the shopping and family holiday atmosphere of the Dubai Summer Surprises.
MasterCard has developed a new promotion with the Dubai Shopping Mall Group (DSMG) and DSS, offering consumers three times the chance to win in a weekly prize draw that takes place at different mall locations around Dubai. Those shoppers who make purchases using their MasterCard credit or debit card will earn three coupons for a draw, effectively tripling their chances of winning the AED500,000 weekly prize raffle.
MasterCard has also developed an additional promotion with Dubai Duty Free (DDF). Those consumers who make a purchase over AED250 at DDF will receive two coupons to double their chances of winning gift vouchers up to the value of AED25,000 each week for ten weeks.
In addition, MasterCard has further demonstrated its strong commitment to the DSS by developing a composite logo to support all promotional efforts.
Denzil Lawson, General Manager, Middle East & Levant, MasterCard Worldwide, said, “It is great to see that the eighth annual Dubai Summer Surprises is being well received by consumers. MasterCard is once again delighted to be a key sponsor and the official payment card of the DSS. Our ongoing support of this event provides us with the opportunity to offer MasterCard cardholders even more benefits through the MasterCard DSMG promotion while they enjoy everything the DSS has to offer.”
