Backed by helicopter gunships, large numbers of Israeli occupation troops raided the Tulkarem refugee camp early Wednesday morning.
Palestinian sources in the camp reported that Israeli troops were engaged in gunfights with Palestinian fighters inside the camp. The Israeli army said that operations in the camp could last several days.
