ALBAWABA- A massive fire broke out at a nine-story hotel construction site in the Cikcilli Neighborhood of Alanya, Turkey, trapping several workers and prompting a large-scale emergency response.
The blaze, which began on the first floor of the building, saw fire, police, and medical teams rush to the scene. Crane assistance was also requested to rescue workers trapped on the upper floors.
After intervention by emergency teams, four workers were successfully rescued.
Efforts to fully extinguish the fire and secure the site are ongoing, with authorities working to ensure no one else remains trapped.
This incident marks the second major fire in Turkey recently, following a devastating blaze at a ski resort hotel that claimed 78 lives.
