ALBAWABA - A massive fire broke out in Tel Aviv and the causes of the blaze are still under investigation, media reported Thursday.
Videos showing a huge fire and a cloud of thick black smoke rising into the sky were posted on social media with some media outlets claiming the fire was in one of the warehouses.
Despite that the causes are unknown, a few took to social media claiming that the fire was caused by a Hezbollah rocket.
On Thursday, the Israeli police and Shin Bet announced foiling a plan targeting Azrieli Mall in Tel Aviv. Israeli media confirmed that five people were arrested.
This comes amid continuous attacks between the Israeli army and the Lebanese Hezbollah group which has been going on since Oct. 7, 2023.
After the Al-Aqsa Flood operation and the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, the Iranian-backed group announced to target Tel Aviv in support of the Palestinians in the strip.
After over a year of war in Gaza, the Ministry of Health there confirmed that at least 41,870 were killed and 97,166 others were injured.
