ALBAWABA - According to a report by Agence France-Presse (AFP), a massive explosion has been heard across the Ukrainian capital Kyiv, with no further details regarding injuries or casualties.
Air raid sirens were sounded across the country just before 6 a.m. Kyiv Independent reporters heard explosions in the city; a few minutes later, they heard numerous additional explosions.
Shortly after the Ukrainian Air Force reported that Russian MiG-31s, which are used to fire Kinzhal ballistic missiles, were in the air, more were heard immediately after 9:00 a.m.
Following the sirens, thousands of people took refuge in subway stations across Kyiv.
