ALBAWABA- Five people were injured in a mass stabbing incident in Croydon, South London, on Thursday. British Metropolitan Police confirmed that a suspect has been arrested in connection with the attack.
The stabbings occurred near a Sainsbury’s and Argos distribution center in the Beddington area, prompting a swift and large-scale emergency response.
Police and paramedics arrived at Marlow Way shortly after 11 a.m. and found five victims with stab wounds.
According to initial reports, the suspect is believed to be a former employee of the parcel center where the attack took place. The victims were attacked near an Asda store in the vicinity, further heightening concerns in the area.
