Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammed met in Kuala Lumpur on Monday with Iranian President Mohammed Khatami.
"They discussed ways of enhancing the bilateral relations between the two countries and boosting the unity of the Muslim World," Malaysian Foreign Minister Sayed Hamed Al-Bar told reporters, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
"The two sides have affirmed the necessity on the part of the Muslim countries to enhance cooperation and to increase exchange of know-how and the volume of trade," he added. (Albawaba.com)
