Makaseb Holding’s Chairman, Hesham Abdel Ghani, has been awarded membership into the exclusive International ‘Who’s Who’ Historical Society (IWWHS) for professionals following the demonstration of successful management policies, innovative projects and regional operations expansion.

“I am honoured to receive this award as IWWHS membership provides global recognition and represents a corporate achievement in being recognised by one of the world’s leading societies for successful professionals.  The networking benefits associated with membership will provide an excellent platform to achieve additional success for Makaseb’s developments,” commented Abdel Ghani.

The IWWHS recognises the achievements of qualified professionals and awards membership following an in-depth interview and biographical review.  The Society provides a practical, reference-quality, business to business directory of its membership portfolio, which is currently referenced with more than 80,000 international members.

Mr. Abdel Ghani will be listed in the 2007 edition of the IWWHS catalogue, in addition to a detailed reference on his biography and business interests, including Makaseb.   Meaning ‘benefits’ in Arabic, Makaseb Holding is a recently launched joint venture between the Rufi Group of companies, Sharm Land Limited and A&A Investment, introduced with an initial investment fund of AED 20 billion.

In December Makaseb announced the launch of the AED three billion Plaza Mayor development under construction in Nakheel’s Jumeirah Village.   The joint project with Ishraqah and Tasees is set to be a nexus for business and leisure and consists of four 50-storey towers, blending European and Arabic influences.

“Makaseb is a multinational holding company directed at diversifying our investments in many countries by constructing premier development projects throughout the Middle East. Our strong network of alliances and reputation as a quality developer will help us to achieve our goal of being one of the region’s leading real estate companies,” Abdel Ghani concluded.
