Lighting has killed thirteen people in the northern part of Yemen over the last several days, the Yemen Times reported.
Eyewitnesses were quoted by the paper as saying that “it rained cats and dogs” during the last few days in Razeh and Munabeh provinces, accompanied by lightning that killed 13 people including three women.
The sources added that such incidents take place during the rainy season in the two areas, complaining that “the government has not done anything to stop this problem.”
