LG Electronics (LGE) officially inaugurated its LGE Media Club this week. This club is to serve as a means to strengthen the ties held between the firm and members of the local media.
The club was inaugurated via a celebratory lunching event held at the Bristol Hotel. This event was attended by members of the local media, Mr. T.Y. Lee, General Manager of the LGE Amman Branch, Mr. Ghazi Farouq Assistant Managing Director for Marketing at the Middle East Complex (MEC), an agent for LGE products in Jordan, and members from LGE Amman office.
Through a presentation held during the inauguration ceremony, the club was portrayed as an entity that strives to give its members exclusive news about LGE, and its latest developments. On another level, the club comes with an array of added benefits for its members including monthly discounts on LGE products, gatherings that strengthen ties held between the firm’s management and club members, monthly awards that recognize journalists with outstanding performance and lots more.
The event also included an elaborate presentation about the LGE Chocolate Phone and all the features that it entails. Such presentations are going to form regular features in the club's monthly meetings, as every month LGE is to introduce club members to a new product which in turn will be named the LGE product of the month.
On this occasion, Mr. T.Y. Lee gave a moving speech in which he welcomed journalists to the club. In his speech he said, “Our strong belief in all of you is what inspires the launch of this unique activity, an activity that I hope will help us at LGE form strong, lasting and fruitful bonds with all of you. I only hope that this club will give you the same joy that we have felt working with you. This club is our way of saying thank you to all of you, as we consider the local media part of the LGE family, and we look forward to working more closely with all of you in the future.”
Referring to the club’s benefits, Mr. T.Y. Lee added, “Through the LGE Media club, we will be providing our members with opportunities to enjoy fun gatherings, and allow them to benefit from exclusive discounts from LGE. These and the many other privileges we provide will make the local media of Jordan stand out amongst their peers. After all, these members have been chosen to be part of this entity because they deserve it.”
Every member will receive a membership card upon joining, and this card will entitle him or her to all the benefits that the LGE Media club provides.
