The potential of the market, especially in the construction sector, is fantastic and we see our products increasingly meeting local demand,” said Wissam Riad, Legrand Area Manager.

Legrand oversees the company's operations in the Near East including Iraq from the Egypt Regional Office and works through local agents or authorised distributors in the whole region. In addition, local support and expertise are provided by offices and subsidiaries based in Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and Dubai making the company strategically placed to capitalize on the projected regional demand for electrical products and systems.

In Iraq, Legrand aims at developing its distribution network through authorized dealers. “The Iraqi population is looking for good quality and secured products, especially in the electrical field.  The idea is to address these specific needs – wherever they are. We can provide to them adapted solutions in all types of buildings, residential, commercial and industrial.”, Wissam Riad adds.
