ALBAWABA - At least 100 people were killed and 400 others were injured in continuous Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon, the Lebanese Ministry of Health said in new data on Monday.
According to the Israeli army, the attacks killed senior Hezbollah commander, Ali Aburia, Sky News Arabia reported on Monday, citing some sources.
Israel said it hit more than 300 Hezbollah sites during two major rounds of strikes against the Iranian-backed group on Monday.
Earlier, Lebanon's Minister of Education Abbas Halabi announced to temporary closing of all schools and universities in the South, Bekaa and the southern suburb of Beirut over continued strikes by the Israeli army.
The closure of all schools and universities in the mentioned areas will continue for two days; Monday and Tuesday.
In response, Hezbollah announces targeting Israeli military bases near Haifa with dozens of missiles.
In the morning, Israeli military spokesperson Daniel Hagari said: "We advise civilians from Lebanese villages located in and next to buildings and areas used by Hezbollah for military purposes, such as those used to store weapons, to immediately move out of harm's way for their own safety."
He added: "The IDF (military) will engage in (more) extensive and precise strikes against terror targets which have been embedded widely throughout Lebanon."
