Lebanon and Iran on Wednesday signed a cooperation agreement to reinforce bilateral relations between the two countries in the field of education, reported the Daily Star newspaper.
The agreement was signed between Lebanon’s Education Minister Abdel-Rahim Mrad and his Iranian counterpart Hussein Muzaffar, who arrived in Beirut on Tuesday.
Muzaffar hoped the agreement would “promote complete educational cooperation between Lebanon and Iran so that both countries can take advantage of each other’s scholarly experience.”
Mrad and Muzaffar also visited the Center for Educational Research and Development in Dekwaneh, where they were briefed on the publishing of national textbooks.
Both ministers also visited the Hotel Institute, where they attended a graduation ceremony, said the paper - Albawaba.com
