Lebanon condemns assassinating Hamas leader Saleh Al-Arouri in Israeli raid

ALBAWABA- Hamas has officially confirmed the assassination of its chief of staff for the West Bank and Gaza, Saleh Al-Arouri, in an Israeli raid on his office in the southern suburb of Beirut. 

Al-Arouri, a key figure in the resistance and the architect of the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation, was killed along with two other Al-Qassam leaders. 

Some sources suggest that the Israeli attack occurred just hours after Al-Arouri met with Hassan Nasrallah.

Lebanese Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati denounced the explosion, labeling it a "new Israeli crime" and warning against the export of Israeli failures in Gaza to Lebanon's southern border. 

Reports indicate that an Israeli plane targeted the building with three missiles, resulting in the death of Al-Arouri and three companions. 

Earlier, Hamas leader, Saleh Al-Arouri, Deputy Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, along with five others among 6 Killed in the Israeli drone attack on an apartment in the southern suburb of Beirut.
