Lebanon’s President to visit Algeria

Lebanon’s President Emile Lahud left Beirut on Tuesday for Algeria on a two-day visit upon an invitation by President Abdulaziz Boutaflika. Lahud's visit comes within the framework of strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries, according to the Saudi Press Agency.  

 

In the course of the visit, two agreements are expected to be signed regarding the consultation and coordination between the ministries of foreign affairs in both countries, and to establish a joint committee.  

 

In addition, the visit aims at reviewing regional and international situations and exchanging viewpoints in a wide-range of topics of joint concern. (Albawaba.com)
