Lebanese President to visit Yemen

Lebanese President Emil Lahud is set to arrive in Sana'a next Saturday for an official visit to Yemen, at an invitation extended by President Ali Abdullah Saleh, the Ath-Thawra daily reported.  

 

The daily said that the two leaders would hold official talks to discuss the current developments in the Arab front and the Israeli dangerous aggression against the Palestinians and its legislative leadership as well as the Iraqi situation.  

 

They are also expected to discuss aspects of developing mutual relations between the two countries. The Lebanese ambassador to Sana'a, Hassan Musalamany told Ath-Thawra, that during this visit, the Lebanese president would be signed on a number of cooperation agreements between Yemen and Lebanon, such as marine and air transportation, higher education, tourism and technical and vocational training as well as avoiding duality taxation.  

 

A senior official delegation is to accompany the Lebanese president, including the Deputy Prime Minister and the Finance, Telecommunication, Foreign and Trade ministers. (Albawaba.com)
