The Lebanese police arrested on Friday two nationals on charges of forging Syrian and Lebanese currencies, reported the Daily Star newspaper.
The alleged forgers, Khaled Mahmoud Othman, 24, and Elie Jean Naoum, 42, made fake Syrian and Lebanese bank notes using a computer, a statement said, cited by the paper.
They circulated the money in shops and taxis both in Lebanon and in Syria – Albawaba.com
