Military Investigative Judge Fadi Sawwan Thursday issued a series of indictments against 24 people over alleged links to extremist groups.
The state-run National News Agency said the suspects included both Lebanese and Syrian citizens.
They had allegedly taken part in fighting in the northeastern border town of Arsal, the northern border region of Wadi Khaled and the northern coastal city of Tripoli.
One suspect identified as Ahmad Hussein Abu al-Leil was accused of attempting to kill Lebanese soldiers during battles in Arsal.
Sawwan referred the suspects to the Military Tribunal.
