Lebanese information technology companies will be promoting themselves at an international trade show in Paris next week, marking the first time that Lebanon has had a pavilion at an IT exhibition outside the Arab world, according to the Daily Star.
Organized by the Professional Computer Association, the Lebanon pavilion will comprise a national booth and six company booths at the Semaine Europeenne des Technologies de l'Information (SETI), an annual IT fair that will run March 6-8 this year, said the report.
"The Lebanese pavilion will attract European investors and businessmen interested in Lebanese IT capacities and innovation," Michel Nseir, a PCA board member and one of the participating exhibitors, said in a press release.
