Syrian Foreign Minister Farouk al-Shara received in Damascus Monday his Lebanese counterpart, Jan Obaid.
During the meeting, talks focused on the latest regional developments, especially in the occupied Palestinian territories and Iraq, according to SANA.
The two ministers highlighted the importance of coordination and consultation between the two brotherly countries concerning Arab and international issues, the agency added.
Later on, Syrian Vice President Abdulhaleem Khaddam received the Lebanese Foreign Minister. Talks between them focused on the regional situation as well as the dangers threatening Arabs such as Zionism, the news agency said.
They stressed the need for reviewing the Arab situation in order to enhance Arab cooperation and solidarity in facing these dangers. (Albawaba.com)
