The Lebanese army on Wednesday detained three members of the Islamic Jihad in Palestine group for having fired Katyusha rockets on Israel, Lebanese police said.
The three Palestinians were arrested in the southern region of Marjayoun while carrying three 107mm Katyusha rockets ready to be launched, they said.
The men confessed that they had fired one Katyusha rocket on northern Israel on Tuesday, the police said, according to AFP.
The three live in the Palestinian refugee camp of Ain al-Helweh at the outskirts of the southern port city of Sidon. (Albawaba.com)
