Gunmen ambushed a bus carrying dozens of cleaners and other workers from a Shi'ite district in Baghdad to the city's airport, killing at least 15 and injuring 15 others, a hospital source said.
According to Reuters, the source conveyed 15 bodies and 15 injured people had been brought to the hospital after the shooting in the Sunni neighbourhood of Amriya in western Baghdad.
An Interior Ministry source confirmed there was an attack on a bus in the area. A boy aged around 15 told Reuters that he was one of five or six people to escape unhurt when the gunmen attacked the bus.
