International Media Production Zone (IMPZ), a member of TECOM Investments, has announced Springer, one of the world’s leading publishers specialising in science, technology and medicine, is to establish its Middle East headquarters at IMPZ.
One of the most innovative STM (science, technical, medical) publishers in the world, Springer publishes over 2,000 journals and more than 6,500 books every year. The opening of the new office at IMPZ is the outcome of Springer’s success in developing publishing projects and a rapidly increasing client base within the region.

The company was one of the first to create an online platform for its journals in 1996. Ten years later, it became the largest publisher of eBooks in one fell swoop by offering 10,000 titles. Today, over 37,000 eBooks are on offer at Springer.
