Following Zaki Badou and Mustapha Lakhsem additional Moroccan sportsmen plan to launch their own web sites in hope to better manage their public image. The first to start this trend was Zaki Badou, the national football team coach, who inaugurated last week his official website (www. Zakibadou.com).
The next to follow him is Mustapha Lakhsem, World Champion in Full-Contact and Kick-Boxing. His site is ready but its official lunch is scheduled for the end of February (www.mustaphalakhsem.com).
Idriss Saadani, manager of Graphic Workshop Agency has told <i>Aujourd'hui</i> that opening your own web site is not a mere trend but a real necessity for these sportsmen in order to be in touch with their fans. It is reported that at least seven other international footballers and four prominent athletes are now working on their new official sites.
