According to JANA, the leader of the revolution stressed that the postponement of any decision on what is tabled for the forthcoming 60th session of the UN General Assembly is inevitable.
In a letter addressed to world head of states / UN General Assembly, the leader of the revolution underlined that the issue was of utmost importance and seriousness, as it is related to the destiny of the world in terms of peace and war, and therefore, merits more than one year of study and debate, and taking into account the opinion of all world's population, because it concerns them and no one else.
The text of the letter of the leader is as follows:
"Once again, we say there is a deception in the issue, that should not be allowed to trick the peoples. What is being presented to the world is UN reform, and not the prospect of whether to enlarge any of its councils, i.e. the Security Council, or not.
-The United Nations is not the security council. The 191 nations until now is the General Assembly. The united nations against Germany in the Second World War, were only four nations then, it was not the United Nations as it is today comprising 191 nations. The four nations at that time which imposed their presence, were free in forming their security council and free in exercising the powers they could, which are related to them through such council.
- Now, however, the 191 nations are the United Nations, which have their natural right to form their Security Council, which is different from the security council of the four nations which scored victory over Germany.
The nations making up the UN General Assembly, should also exercise, through their General Assembly all powers, we say all powers without exceptions, because there is no other party in the world apart from the assembly of 191 nations, making up all peoples of the world.
- The assembly of this 191 united nations, is the one with the right to form its security council, in the way it suits it, serves its goals and realizes its security, which means that the General Assembly should have the final say, the international legislator, the world's parliament, and vested with international sovereignty.
- This is democracy at the top of the world, and without its realization from this perspective, debate about democracy in the world, and pressing countries to be democratic regimes becomes a farce, mockery and ridicule and laughable and will be heeded by no body.
- The sound and democratic solution is that the General Assembly( i.e. the 191 nations) exercise all powers enshrined in the UN charter from chapter 1 to 19. Its Security Council that it should form, is but an executive tool, only to implement the resolutions of the General Assembly by countries comprising it.
- Unless, this is achieved, the fate of the current United Nations Organizations is to wither away, and we must get ready to live in a world without it.
- Since the matter is of utmost importance and seriousness, and related to the fate of the world in war and peace, the postponement of any decision of what is tabled for the forthcoming 60th session of the General Assembly is inevitable.
The matter is very serious and merits more than one year of study and debate, and taking into account the opinion of all world's population, because it concerns them and no one else.
This letter is based on article 109 of the UN Charter as well as its preamble."
