Leader: Iran needs no nuclear bombs

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei said on Wednesday that Iranian nation is determined to follow up their clear path. "Resistance under all conditions is the big lesson of the Great Prophet of Islam Hazrat Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him). Relying on the decisive lesson (of the prophet) and by having strong presence in all fields and scenes of campaign, engagement and dialogue, the Great Iranian nation will continue their clear path," said the Iranian leader.

According to IRNA, Khamenei said having a right stance is the key but not sufficient condition for progress. "Based on a divine tradition, right will be victorious when its followers keep resistance under all conditions," he conveyed.

The Iranian Supreme Leader said contrary to the world bullying powers' wishes, the Iranian nation will continue supporting the oppressed Palestinian nation. He said that Iranian nation strongly condemns "dirty and impudent" silence of the so-called advocates of freedom and human rights in the face of Zionists' daily crimes and injustice.

He added the US President George W. Bush's support for the "murderer and terrorist" Zionists is in brazen contradiction with his claim of support for freedom. "Iranian nation is awake and fully understands the facts," announced Khamenei.

Ayatollah Khamenei said, "Backing down one step in the face of the arrogance will encourage it to come one step forward. The idea, that retreatment and giving up right stances and words will make the arrogance change its policy, is totally wrong and baseless." Terming nuclear bomb producers and the ones threatening mankind's security and calm as "Abujahl" (ignorant persons) in today's world, Ayatollah Khamenei said, "The present time Abujahls (ignorant persons), who only look at their arms and roar like foolish hooligans, do know that Iranian nation pursues nuclear energy for electricity generation.

They (the west) however claim that since such a work gives you (Iranians) power, we (westerners) will not allow (you to pursue it). Iranian nation will of course defy such claims and continue their path, relying on their helpful experience and on the reliable benefits of its 30-year resistance."
