The Tunisian singer Latifayh Al-Tunisiyyah attended a press conference on Friday 27 July 2007 at the Radisson SAS Hotel.  A big number of journalists attended the press conference during which they asked the singer several questions regarding her participation in the Jerash Festival that celebrates its silver jubilee this year, not to mention that this is not Latifah's first participation.

Right from the start of her career, Latifa cooperated with prominent figures who believed in her talent and her human and artistic commitment. She maintained this path whereby she did not release any song unless it was signed by one of the big names in the world.  Among the major poets she dealt with are Abd-al-Wahab Muhammad and Nizar Qabbani, as for composers, she cooperated with Balig Hamdi, Ammar al-Shuray'i Salah al-Sharnubi, and Kazim al-Sahir. Latifah culminated her cooperation with big names when one of the pillars of the theatre in the Arab World and Lebanon; namely, Mansur al-Rahabani, chose her to be the star of his new play " Hukm al-Ru'yan" along with a  bouquet of  Lebanese artists. In the play, Latifah sang with a Lebanese dialect for the first time.

She has released scores of albums featuring various types of singing and Arabic dialects, and was among the first to do a cinema clip song captured by the well-known cameraman Atif Salim.  Latifah had one experience in the cinema with world-renowned Director Yusuf Shahin who directed Latifah's " Sukut Hansawwar" movie in 2001 which was produced by Egyptian and French companies

Latifah won many important Arab and international awards, the most important of which is the Cultural Merit Medal conferred on her by Tunisian President Zayn Al-Abidin Bin Ali in appreciation for her efforts in  projecting a bright picture of the Tunisian artist and in appreciation for her pride in her country, Tunisia.

In 2005, she established the Latifah Charity Organization to become the first charity organization established by an Arab artist.  She decided to allocate part of the revenues of her concerts, songs, and musical productions as well as her appearance on radio and television for this organization. The organization runs charity convoys hosting big artists to tour cities and regions in the Arab World in support of the projects and goals of the Latifah Charity Organization.

Latifah gave many successful concerts on the most prestigious Arab and international theatres like the historical Qartaj Theatre in Tunisia in addition to her concerts in Egypt, Libya, Oman, and the UAE.   In 1997, she gave a concert in Albert Hall in Britain and had another successful concert in Paris in 1994, not to mention her several performances in the Jerash festival For Culture And Arts.
