Britain is sending a trade mission to Iran at the end of august which will be the biggest since the Islamic revolution in Tehran in 1979, with a view to boost trade ties between the two countries, the Kuwaiti official news agency (KUNA) reported.
Addressing a news conference in London, Brian Constant, the director general of the Middle East Association (MEA), an independent UK organization interested in developing trade with the region, said that the 33-man mission is due to begin its week-long visit to Tehran on August 30.
The delegation will include representatives from 30 companies from wide-ranging sectors including banking, financial services, engineering, health care, travel and fisheries, said the agency, adding that no representatives from the oil sector will take part – Albawaba.com
