The Land Jordan, a leading investment and real estate developer and a member of The Land Holding, hosted a number of officials and members of the press, headed by the Governor of Zarqa Governorate H.E Mr. Ahmad Al-Sheyyab and Director General of the National Resources Investment & Development Corporation 'Mawared' Eng. Akram Abu Hamdan, in an inclusive tour to view the progress and latest  achievements in the company’s development in King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz City (previously known as Madinat Al-Sharq).

The Land Jordan’s project, located in the populous Governorate of Zarqa, has seen the first Jordanian family move into one of its residential units.

The tour of the overall project included a demonstration of the wide range of the residential units and cutting the ribbon of the first home inhabited by the Jordanian family, in addition to a lunch, which was held in honor of the attendees and included the first owner’s family, relatives and friends.

“The delivery of respectable housing to Jordanian citizens in the different governorates of the Kingdom, including the citizens of Zarqa, comes in line with our keenness to contribute in the realization of the His Majesty’s ‘Honorable House for Honorable Life’ initiative,” Basel Saeed, General Manager of The Land Jordan, said.

The Land Jordan embarked on its activities in the local real estate market when it launched high value strategic projects that aim at playing a key role in the socioeconomic development of the country.  The company’s involvement in King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz City, an ambitious project to construct a contemporary and integrated community with utmost sophistication and high standards, is considered one of its major contributions in the Kingdom. As the primary developer in King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz City, The Land Jordan aims to construct 1250 commercial and residential units on the 196,000 square meters of land that it owns.
Successfully selling the first phase of its project, comprising of 124 residential units and a commercial complex, which is near completion, the company expects to finalize the project’s second phase that consists of some 270 residential units by end of this year, including buildings, villas, and a local commercial complex that will be offered at very attractive prices and convenient payment terms. The Land Jordan’s project will also contain the largest mall in the eastern part of the Kingdom with an area of approximately 80,000 square meters to be developed on a 35 donum piece of land.

“This project, which showcases our abilities, is a translation of our endeavors to introduce accomplishments and make our customers’ dreams a living reality,” Saeed concluded.
