Kuwait's defense minister Sheikh Jaber al-Mubarak al Sabah has denied reports regarding a state of alert among Kuwaiti armed force units.
There was nothing of that kind thus far and we are following up with concern regional and international developments, he said in statements published in Kuwait on Wednesday.
He told the al-Qabas newspaper that Kuwait hoped that Baghdad would resort to reason and implement international resolutions to save the Iraqi people from the perils of war. (Albawaba.com)
