The Kuwaiti Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Sheikh Saad Al Abdullah Al Sabah left Kuwait Monday for London on a private visit to the United Kingdom to undergo routine medical check-ups, the Kuwaiti news agency (KUNA) reported.
Sheikh Sabah, 71, had health problems in 1999. He was admitted to a US naval hospital in Maryland, where he underwent "routine medical tests." Last year he was in Britain for the same purpose.
Sheikh Saad, who was appointed by Kuwaiti emir Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah as crown prince in 1978, has presided over all Kuwaiti governments – Albawaba.com
