Saudi King Fahd called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities to stop Israeli aggressions against the Palestinians, describing the Israeli violence as “unprecedented in history of mankind.”
The official Kuwaiti news agency (KUNA) quoted the Saudi monarch as saying during a cabinet weekly meeting that the regional tensions caused by the “Israeli aggression against the unarmed Palestinian people warrants a stand by the international community to tackle the Israeli extremism.”
Saudi Information Minister Fuad al-Farsi said the king briefed the ministers about contents of messages he had sent to leaders of some Arab states within the framework of efforts to reach a common stand on the dangers facing the nation as a result of the continuous Israeli aggression.
“King Fahd reiterated support for the final statement of the GCC foreign ministers concerning the joint gulf action that asserted support for the Palestinian people,” said the minister – Albawaba.com
