An armed group of Syrians Tuesday kidnapped a group of Lebanese and Syrians from east Lebanon, security sources said.
The sources said preliminary information indicated that twelve people were abducted, 10 Syrian and two Lebanese. They were all snatched from the outskirts of Ras Baalbek village.
Other media reports had conflicting information about the number abducted.
The Al-Manar television channel reported that a Syrian armed group kidnapped three Lebanese, three Turks and four Syrians from the outskirts of Ras Baalbek.
Meanwhile, the LBCI channel said the number of the hostages was ten and that they were all Syrian workers.
