Libyan leader Moammer Kadhafi, as part of his efforts to broker a peace deal to end Sudan's civil war, will hold talks in Khartoum on Thursday with President Omar Bashir, the official Sudan News Agency (SUNA) said.
SUNA, cited by Reuters, did not say how long Kadhafi would stay in Khartoum.
Kadhafi last visited Sudan in February when he participated in a summit of Sahel and Saharan countries in Khartoum.
A peace initiative launched by Egypt and Libya in 1999 has failed to end fighting in Sudan's 18-year-old civil war.
