ALBAWABA - In an unexpected turn of events, Yemen's Houthis claim to have successfully targeted the British oil ship MARLIN LUANDA with missiles, resulting in a fire onboard.
Yahya Seri, the spokesperson for the Houthi Armed Forces, asserted that the operation was conducted to aid the oppressed Palestinian population and counter the perceived American-British aggression against Yemen.
Seri stated, "The naval forces affiliated with the Yemen Armed Forces executed an operation against the British oil ship (MARLIN LUANDA) in the Gulf of Aden with the assistance of the Almighty. The operation utilized appropriate naval missiles that struck the ship directly, leading to a fire onboard."
He underscored that these operations would persist until the attacks cease, ensuring the delivery of food and medicine to the besieged Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip and continuing actions against Zionist ships in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea or those en route to occupied Palestinian ports.
In addition, Yemeni leader Hazem al-Sayyid, after the direct targeting and burning of the ship in Bab el Mandeb, emphasized that the International Court of Justice is located in Bab el Mandeb, not in The Hague.
