In line with its new corporate identity and global expansion plans, Jumeirah, the Dubai-based luxury hospitality group, has expanded its sales network to include Asia, recognising the region as a key growth area for business to its properties worldwide.

Jumeirah has appointed Delivering Asia, one of Asia’s most successful Hospitality Sales & Marketing companies to handle its Sales & Marketing activities throughout the region with offices in Japan, Hong Kong and Bangkok. Jumeirah’s existing sales network includes offices in the United Arab Emirates, UK, Germany and the US and this new addition will be key to the development of the world’s fastest growing outbound travel market to one of the world’s most luxurious hospitality brands.

Jumeirah recently unveiled a new corporate identity and announced that it will re-brand its existing portfolio of luxury, award-winning hotels before the end of this year, in an aim to create a single, memorable identity for the company. The aim of the re-branding exercise is to create a strong brand platform for local, regional and international expansion, and to further strengthen Jumeirah’s position as the world’s leading luxury hospitality group.

Bill Walshe, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer for Jumeirah, said: “Given the dynamic growth in the Asian and Japanese outbound markets, particularly in the deluxe segment of the hospitality industry, we feel that this is the ideal time for Jumeirah to extensively develop potential markets in Asia, in line with our planned global expansion.”

Delivering Asia was founded in 2001, by Joe Cauchi and is well positioned to provide Jumeirah with professional sales and marketing representation for which it is noted throughout the Asian region. Mark Simmons, Vice President of Delivering Asia will be coordinating the sales and marketing activities for

Jumeirah in the Asian markets. The key Asian outbound markets that will be targeted for Jumeirah’s hotels are Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia.

Jumeirah properties are regarded as among the most luxurious and innovative in the world and have won numerous international travel and tourism awards. The Dubai based luxury hospitality group encompasses the world renowned Burj Al Arab, the world’s most luxurious hotel, the multi-award winning Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Jumeirah Beach Club Resort and Spa, Madinat Jumeirah and Jumeirah Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa.

The group’s activities are however, not restricted to hotel and resort management. The Jumeirah portfolio also includes Wild Wadi, regarded as one of the premier water parks outside of North America and The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management, the region’s only third level academic institution specializing in the hospitality and tourism sectors.

Jumeirah has also expanded internationally and manages the Jumeirah Carlton Tower and Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel in London’s Belgravia.

Building on this success, Jumeirah has become a member of Dubai Holding, a collection of leading Dubai based businesses and projects, in a step that aims to initiate a new phase of growth and development for the group.
