Jordan demanded clarification from the Israeli government on Thursday over an attack in the Gaza Strip on a car belonging to Jordanian diplomats.
According to the official Jordanian news agency Petra, the incident took place when Israeli troops opened fire on the diplomats' car.
Two administrative employees from the Jordanian representation office were in the car when the attack took place near the Erez Crossing in the Gaza Strip.
No one was hurt, said the agency.
Jomaa Abbadi, head of the Jordanian representation office, told Petra that the two employees were traveling back to Jordan on an ordinary trip.
Abbadi said the Jordanian Foreign Ministry in Amman would follow up on the issue with Israelis, Petra added – Albawaba.com
