ALBAWABA - Jordanian army revealed that Border Guard forces in the Jordanian Eastern Command thwarted an attempt by three armed individuals to illegally cross the Jordanian border at dawn on Tuesday, Al Mamlaka reported.
The individuals were spotted, and a clash erupted between them and the Jordanian border guards, leading to the death of the three men following an exchange of fire.
Days ago, the Jordanian army, in cooperation with the Syrian government, was able to foil seven smuggling attempts across the shared border were thwarted, nearly one million narcotic pills prepared for smuggling and illegal distribution were also seized.
