Armed Conflicts Have Been Occurring Between Jordanian Border Guard Forces And Armed Groups On The Northern Border Of The Kingdom And Within The Eastern Military District's Area Of Responsibility Since The Early Hours Of Monday Morning, According To A Military Source In The General Command Of The Jordanian Armed Forces.
"Thus Far, These Battles Have Prevented The Smuggling Of Both Automatic And Missile Weaponry As Well As Massive Amounts Of Drugs. The Source Stated That The Armed Groups Are Now Being Kicked Out Into Syria And That Several Jordanian Border Guard Personnel Have Been Injured, With A Range Of Minor To Moderate Injuries" the army statement added.
