The road show will commence in Washington, D.C. on April 15th, stop in New York on April 19th and conclude in San Francisco on April 21st 2010. Objectives of the mission are to explore joint investment and trade opportunities and enhance economic activity between Jordan and the United States. This event will mark the 60th Anniversary of U.S. - Jordanian diplomatic relations and the 10th Anniversary of signing the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the two countries.
The event will serve as a convening place for high level government officials and business leaders to harbor engagement in business opportunities, to provide support for advancing partnerships, and to encourage bi-lateral enterprises. Sectors showcased are the following: Information & Communication Technology, Energy and Renewable Energy, Financial Services, Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals, in addition to prominent multi-sector Megaprojects.
Panels are designed to cover several facets of selected sectors including a brief overview of featured sector, available opportunities, risk mitigation programs and financing options, success stories, and potential trade. The session is designed to be interactive, where the floor will be open to questions.
Targeted audiences were selected based on careful analysis and diligent work with our US partners. As representatives of Jordanian economic and commercial sector, ECB and JIB can support your organization or company by reaching out to specified companies to arrange for bi-lateral meetings during the Forum. Matchmaking meetings will be arranged during the event.
