Jordan's official spokeswoman on Monday described an upcoming visit of Prime Minister Faisal Al-Fayez to Iran
as "important."
Speaking to the official IRNA news agency, the spokeswoman said that during his visit, Al-Fayez would discuss with top Iranian officials avenues for boosting
bilateral relations.
The Jordanian prime minister will be accompanied by a high-ranking economic delegation, including the Jordanian members of the Jordan-Iran Joint Economic Committee.
"Regional and international issues such as the Iraq crisis and Palestine will be subjects of discussion in the coming meeting," he added.
Faisal Al-Fayez is due to visit Iran and Singapore in late June. (Albawaba.com)
