Jordan participates in extinguishing fires in Syria

ALBAWABA - Under royal directives, the Jordanian Armed Forces was dispatched on Sunday in efforts to extinguish fires that broke out in several Syrian regions. These fires were caused by the blasts of war remnants and high temperatures, which led to the spread of fires in forests, plains, and residential areas.

The Armed Forces sent two Black Hawk helicopters from the Royal Jordanian Air Force, equipped with specialized crews and advanced technical equipment, to help control the fires and limit their spread, protecting lives and property.

This participation comes within the framework of the humanitarian role undertaken by the Jordanian Armed Forces and its constant commitment to assisting brotherly and friendly countries in crises and natural disasters, reflecting the values ​​of solidarity and mutual support embraced by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The Syrian government expressed its thanks and appreciation to Jordan for this rapid response, praising the significant humanitarian role undertaken by the Kingdom, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, in various circumstances and situations.

It's worth noting that the Jordanian Armed Forces have extensive experience in dealing with and fighting fires, possessing the necessary tools and personnel to handle such incidents. They have also participated in local and international firefighting operations, reflecting their humanitarian responsibility to provide aid and relief to various brotherly and friendly countries.
