Jordan and Pakistan are gearing up exceptional efforts for their two navies to explore steps to begin naval cooperation, reports said.
According to the Middle East Newsline (MENL) agency, both countries have increased their defense ties over the last year with mutual visits by high-level commanders and defense officials.
The Pakistani naval chief Admiral Abu Aziz Mirza is expected in Amman on Friday to meet the chiefs of the Jordanian air force and navy.
The discussions have centered on joint training, exercises and weapons development projects, it added.
Pakistan also wants to sell Jordan such weapons as aircraft and artillery – Albawaba.com
