According to PETRA, Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah left on Tuesday to Saudi Arabia in a short visit to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during which they will offer condolences to Custodian of Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ben Abdul Aziz over the passing away of late King Fahid and take part in the funeral ceremony.
King Abdullah II expressed deep and sincere condolences and sympathies over the passing away of King Fahid, in a statement to Jordanian Television and other Arab mass media before he left Amman, adding that the death of late King Fahid is considered a great loss not only for Saudi people but also for Arab, Muslim nations and for the entire world.
"Jordan will not forget King Fahid's stance beside Jordan during turbulent circumstance", King Abdullah noted, adding that King Fahid was portly, courageous and discerning Arab leader.
King Abdullah expressed confidence that King Abdullah Ben Abdul Aziz will continue the march, affirming that we will spare no efforts to help our brothers in Saudi Arabia.
A number of the Royal family members are accompanying His Majesty the King, princes Faisal, Hamzah, Hashem and princess Noor Hamzah , the delegation also includes Prime Minister Adnan Badran, Chief of Royal Court Faisal Fayez, President of Senate House Zeid Rifai, Lower House Speaker Abdul Hadi Majali, King's Advisor for Islamic affairs/ Chief Justice Ezzideen Al Khateb, and King's
