Jordan's King says Assad will run out of money in six months

Following his comments at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Jordan's King Abdullah told Al-Rai newspaper on Wednesday that he believes Syrian President Assad will run out of money in six months time.
 
The Jordanian monarch told his Davos audience last Friday that he thought the Syrian regime would fall in six months time or less. On Wednesday he clarified these comments to the Jordanian newspaper, saying he was not specifying a date but thought Assad's government would be unable to fund their war effort by that time.
 
The Syrian war of 22-months has claimed the lives of over 60,000 people, many of them civilians. The violence began after Assad's regime soldiers attacked peaceful protestors
